DePaul Postgame Report; W 34-27

Thoughts on DePaul?: Going into this game we didn't have much info on them and really weren't concerned much about them. They certainly proved us wrong, going into halftime with a seven point lead.

Did you make any halftime adjustments?: We were doing some things in the first half that were stressing our Linebackers and Defensive Line. We made those changes in the locker room and it obviously helped us out as we only allowed a field goal in the second half. Offensively, we tried to do some things to open up our running game. Our running backs certainly got more touches, and although they couldn't break the big one, it opened up our passing game.

Effects going forward?: We'll take what we learned from this game and use it for the remainder of our non-conference schedule. It was a good learning experience for us. I'll be really disappointed if this situation repeats itself over the next four games.

Player of the Game:
Sophomore QB, Morganton, NC - Passing - 20/39 for 297 Yds. and 4 TD/0 Int. Rushing - 6 for 14 Yds.
