Oklahoma Postgame Report; L 16-27

Thoughts on Oklahoma?: We really didn't feel like we were ready for a quality opponent like the Sooners in only our second year at Tennessee. However, these players showed me how resilient they are. If it hadn't been for some panicking by the coaching staff in our halftime adjustments, we would have probably had a better chance of winning. We have to use this as a learning experience going forward.

Did you make any halftime adjustments?: We felt like we needed to throw the ball more, when that obviously played into their strengths.

Effects going forward?: We've learned to stick with what works and keep pounding that rock and playing keep away. There's not a team in the nation that can match up with our o-line and running backs.

Player of the Game:

John Hurd; Junior, LB; Chattanooga, TN - 12 tackles
